Reluctantly, yours

I eat to live and I cook to live too. I mean, I do only survival cooking when I dont have a maid to worry about what to cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast menu is of course the worst part - cooking something edible superquick in a half-sleepy state is a challenge. I am not talking about bread & butter & jam or 2-minute noodles or oats. I meant traditional fare like idli-sambar, puttu-kadala curry (in picture), idiappam-egg curry and so on.

The hits that my Kerala chicken stew has generated has made me think of a separate blog to inflict my occasional culinary misadventures on all ye sundry.

And look here for my very Kerala, very Ummi Abdullah Appam/Palappam/Kallappam.

And here for my very Madras Rasam, learnt from my Tamilian maid.

And here for my Mutton soup for the Malloo mom.

Cheers,
